Indian Intelligence Bureau warns of possible terrorist attacks on RSS Leaders, Offices

New Delhi, 12 February, (Asiantribune.com):

The Intelligence Bureau (IB), after receiving fresh inputs of possible terrorist attack in the country targeting Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) offices and its leaders as well, has issued a warning to the concerned authorities.

“Unknown individuals, possibly linked to global terror groups are planning to target RSS offices/leaders and police stations, using IEDs and VBIEDs in the coming days,”

it claimed. The latest input issued, claims that the global terror groups can use improvised explosive devices (IED) and vehicle-borne IEDs (VBIED) to target the RSS offices and its leaders in Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra and Rajasthan etc.

All the concerned state governments have been asked to take appropriate actions to prevent any untoward incident.

Security has been beefed up in the concerned states and security arrangements of RSS leaders is being reviewed, said a top government official.
