Does anyone have the guts saying Robert Mueller is not an angel?

By Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury

Andrew C. McCarthy is a senior fellow at the National Review Institute in an opinion editorial said, “It is intolerable that, after more than two years of digging — the 16-month Mueller probe having been preceded by the blatantly suspect labors of the Obama Justice Department and FBI — we still do not have an answer to that simple question.”

He [Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein] then continued, “To my mind, he has owed us an answer from the beginning, meaning when he appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller on May 17, 2017. The regulations under which he made the appointment require (a) a factual basis for believing that a federal crime worthy of investigation or prosecution has been committed; (b) a conflict of interest so significant that the Justice Department is unable to investigate this suspected crime in the normal course; and (c) an articulation of the factual basis for the criminal investigation — i.e., the investigation of specified federal crimes — which shapes the boundaries of the special counsel’s jurisdiction.

“This last provision is designed to prevent a special counsel’s investigation from becoming a fishing expedition — or what President Trump calls a “witch hunt,” what DAG Rosenstein more diplomatically disclaims as an “unguided missile,” and what Harvard’s Alan Dershowitz, invoking Lavrentiy Beria, Stalin’s secret-police chief, pans as the warped dictum, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” In our country, the crime triggers the assignment of a prosecutor, not the other way around.”

Mr. McCarthy has rightly said, “It is too debilitating to the governance of the United States, to the pursuit of America’s interests in the world, for us [Americans] to permit imposing on the presidency the heavy burdens of defending against a criminal investigation unless there is significant evidence that the president has committed a serious crime.”

Democrats too know, Robert Mueller’s appointment as a Special Counsel is illegal still they keep silent just because they want President Donald Trump, more precisely the Republican Party to be in trouble. They also know, no Democratic attorney general would appoint a special counsel, no matter the evidence, and that the media would compliantly play along.

It is now up to Republicans in particular and the Americans in general to respond to the damage already done by Obama, Hillary, Mueller and the liberals on the office of the president. But it isn’t clear if at all Republicans or the patriotic Americans can realize the urgency of doing so.

No one can challenge a plain fact that Donald Trump is one of the best presidents who has shown charisma in rescuing American economy from the point of collapse and now the economy and jobs are doing very well. Barack Hussein Obama and his administration had completely screwed the economy of the country leaving a large proportion of the population jobless. If this issue is taken into consideration, then Donald Trump’s presidency would be a rousing success and huge blessings for the United States of America. Still biased ABC/Washington Post poll that has Trump’s job approval at just 38 percent with 60 percent disapproving!

No one has guts to question the wastage of millions of public dollars behind the unscrupulous and ill-motivated witch hunt of Robert Mueller and his cronies. Taking the opportunity of his privilege, Robert Mueller is wildly spending public money with the bizarre desire of discovering or even manufacturing an allegation against President Trump.

Unfortunately, congressional Republicans are allowing the Mueller drama to continue just because they do not want to place their necks out for Donald Trump. They miss a point – this is not something going against an individual – but a constitutional office.

More unfortunately, without judging the legitimacy of Robert Mueller’s appointment, Republicans are joining the voice of the Democrats saying Mueller is “patriotic honorable man” and he should be allowed completing his ‘investigation’. Should it be not Donald Trump, a Republican president and Democrats were in the White House, they would certainly have raised objection saying, Robert Mueller, in addition to his illegal appointment has also elucidated the point by transferring the two indictments her has brought against Russian operatives to Justice Department components. To the contrary there is no reason why deputy attorney general could not have investigated these cases in the normal court – if there is a ‘normal course’ for a pair of publicity-stunt cases that will never be prosecuted. Mueller has appointed well-known lawyers, all of whom are Democrats, to investigate this hyper-political case. Here again, the ulterior motive of Robert Mueller is clearly proved.

No one questions as to why Hillary Clinton’s lawyer Jeannie Rhee was included in Mueller’s team. She, like several other members of Mueller’s bloated staff, comes to the task of investigating the president either directly from the purportedly conflicted Justice Department or after a brief period in private practice.

Mr. McCarthy has correctly said, “In this particular investigation, however, the actions of the Justice Department [and the Federal Bureau of Investigation] in commencing and pursuing the Trump/Russia probe are themselves under investigation by the Justice Department and its inspector general, and by several congressional committees. Under those circumstances, how is it appropriate to staff a special-counsel probe, which is premised on avoiding a conflict of interest, with lawyers who were top officials in the Justice Department whose conduct of the same probe is itself under investigation?”

If the president were a Democrat, such things would never happen. Because if a Democrat were in the White House and Weissman & Co., were Republicans transferred over from the Republican Deputy Attorney General now under investigation, congressional Democrats would be screaming that there was no conflict of interest warranting the appointment of a special counsel, and that the only apparent conflict involved the prosecutors. And Republicans would be gently agreeing.

To appoint a special counsel, there should be concrete evidence of Donald Trump committing crime in connection with Russian election meddling. In that case, anyone may ask – what federal crime President Donald Trump has committed which had prompted in appointing a special counsel. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller had smartly avoided addressing this question.

Rosenstein passed a memo on August 2, 2017 to Mueller stating crimes may have been committed. There is no factual basis to consider the theory of ‘crimes’ to be believable. Justice Department has applied full vigor in keeping the content of the memo secret saying, memo cannot be unsealed without compromising the investigation and potentially prejudicing uncharged people. But journalists had been allowed by the court to read the memo and in one of the sentences, Rod Rosenstein wrote, “… Allegations that Paul Manafort … Committed a crime or crimes by colluding with Russian government officials with respect to the Russian government’s effort to interfere with the 2016 election for President of the United States of America, in violation of United States law.”

Reuters reported back in April 2018 that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein assured President Donald Trump that he is not a “target” of Mueller’s investigation. In that case, why the Republicans in the Congress aren’t asking if the president is not a subject of Mueller’s investigation, why the Americans are yet not being told this? Americans now have right to ask Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller – what they have been doing in the name of investigating against Donald Trump and wasting millions of public dollars in a weird investigation, most possibly initiated to give political orgasm to the Democrats – more precisely to Obama and Hillary.

It is well perceived that Robert Mueller won’t close his investigation unless he gets President Donald Trump impeached. This is the ulterior agenda of the man who is wasting millions of public dollars behind an unscrupulous and unethical mission of unseating the president of the United States of America. Hopefully patriotic Americans will become vocal against such illegal practices of Mueller and demand investigation into his wasting public dollars. Moreover, investigation should be initiated against the members of the Mueller gang for their proven bias towards the Democrats. It is Robert Mueller and his gang who should go to jail for continuing a ridiculous witch hunt for years in the name of investigating a sitting president.

Americans should also unite against the conspiracy against democracy and constitutional institutions and vote for the Republican candidates during the November midterm polls and gear up campaign for the 2020 presidential election. Donald Trump is a blessing for the American people, and it is high time that Americans say ENOUGH to Robert Mueller and his cohort. They also need to say – Vote for Republican candidates during the November midterm polls. Donald Trump for 2020 - should be today’s slogan for the heroic and patriotic people of the United States of America. This certainly is a crucial time for the American people - for American democracy. Socialists and Communists are conspiring against. Islamists and their cohorts are conspiring again. This is a war against falsehood. This is a war against the enemies of America. This is a war that Americans must win. God bless America!
