Stunning victory for Bolt!
The world fastest man, champion sprinter from Jamaica, Usain Bolt did not disappoint his fans all over the globe. For many track and field enthusiasts London Olympic 2012 was all about Usain Bolt.
There were more than 80,000 spectators in the stadium in addition to the millions who glued to the TV to watch the star event on the card, the 100m final.
Usain Bolt defended his 100m title in stunning style by winning the final in an Olympic record time of 9.63 and the Gold.
Bolt who holds the world record finished ahead of his countryman Yohan Blake. Seven of the ten finalists ran under 10 seconds, what was the fastest Olympic 100m final ever.
Bolt came home first clocking the second quickest time in history.
The 25 year old Gold medal winner Usain Bolt said ‘It was wonderful. I knew it was going to be like this. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that it was going to be loud and it was going to be great.’
Now we can expect a similar capacity crowd for his 200m final.
In short Bolt has become the center of attraction for the London Olympic 2012 for everyone. His fans are waiting to see him once more displaying his trade mark victory sign!
