Mr. Michel Hanna Shomali appointed Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Bethlehem and Hebron, Palestinian National Authority
Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka had issued the Commission of Appointment to Mr. Michel Hanna Shomali as Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Bethlehem and Hebron, recently.
The Exequatur confirming the concurrence of the Palestinian National Authority for this appointment was formally handed over to Mr. Michel Hanna Shomali by Dr. Riad Al Malki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority on 7th May 2012.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. T. Jayasinghe, Representative of Sri Lanka in the Palestinian National Authority who is also the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Palestinian National Authority.
