[b]Toronto, 02 May, (Asiantribune.com):[/b] Canadian Government should come forward to take appropriate actions to institute investigations into the fund raising carried on by the LTTE controlled Tamil Rehabilitation Organization, the Canadian Tamil Congress and other pro-LTTE groups supposedly for Tsunami Relief Work in Sri Lanka totaling over 2.5 million dollars according to figures published in the media, to ensure that these funds were utilized for the declared purposes.
Mahinda Gunasekera, President of the Sri Lanka United National Association of Canada has urged this in a letter he addressed to Stockwell Day, MP, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
In his letter Mahinda Gunasekwra also pointed out, "The legitimacy of the work carried on by the propaganda arm of the Tamil Tigers which operates television, radio, and print media outlets in Canada, to directly support the LTTE by glorifying their violence and also assist in fundraising campaigns too should be looked at more closely, and new regulations enacted as done in the UK and other allied nations."

LTTE would like a Darfur in the North-East part of SL, to prove the GOSL is discriminating against Tamils.
With the violence on going among the rival tamil groups, who would want to spend a cent on North-East part of SL.
Even the tamils are putting their money in the south like Wellawatta.
They must have considered, Wellawatta is less risky than North-East part of SL.
Perhaps GOSL could do more, but presently tigers are running a defacto gov. Everything else is done by the GOSL.

First you want to ban Ltte, then WTM, then ABC, DEF,.... old boys unions, high school unions,.....
If you start digging, everyone's involved.
For long time Canadian government and other foreign governments give 'aids' to GOSL. GOSL use this (indirectly) to buy arms, planes etc. and bombed schools, temples, churches, and so on. Does this means Canada and other foreign countries are invloved in bombing Tamils?
Even, Premadasa gave arms to Ltte.
GOSL spend too much time talking to foreign countries to ban LTTE, but never spend anytime to talk to Tamils to solve the problem.
If GOSL is not smart enough to solve this problem quickly, SL will become another Darfur.

LTTE had so many different Tamil cultural organizations promoting SPorts and culture only among tamils. Some of these organizations got CAndaian govt. grants.
Besides they charged every one participated also. I am sure those money used to buy weapons.
So, In that way, Canada helped killing of people in Sri Lanka.

[b]On Sunday after the LTTE “Sea Tigers” sea journey between Mullaitivu and Trincomalee the Canadian TVI (a LTTE 24hrs television channel) televised the journey with the video clips and all detail.
This is like propaganda. After this news (propaganda) and the Batticaloa TNA (TMVP) camp attack I heard they get more support. And the LTTE sympathizers still giving money to LTTE/ WTM in Canada.
How are these LTTE media’s and pro LTTE Medias getting these from Vanni right away?
The Canadian authorities have to investigate their links and connections.
Now the LTTE/ WTM organizing a cultural program in Toronto, Canada in the name of “KONDADDAM” (South Asian Business Festival) on May 20th and 21st at International Centre, Airport Road present by LTTE/ WTM mouth pieces TVI and CMR Diversity FM 101.3. My dear friends, Appreciate your work and kindly urge every one who respects democratic & human rights commence your stronger campaign to ban LTTE from europe clutches.
These killers mis-use all political freedom provided in europe soils to kill innocent civilians in Sri Lanka, with well organised propeganda machines linked with BBC &c.
Unless weakening these killers we can never achieve peace in a decent manner.
So called developed nations should help other democratic countries which faces these terrorism today.
