Sri Lanka Navy sinks another LTTE vessel

Asian TruneThe Sri Lankan Navy sank the 10th LTTE ship in deep down South Seas 800 nautical miles away from Dondra Head early morning today, Sri Lanka’s Navy Spokesperson Commander D.K.P. Dadanayake said. The Commander further said that the Sri Lanka Navy received credible intelligence information and their attack ships SLNS Sarga, SLNS Saura and SLNS Sranimala sailed to deep seas on 1st of October and detected the ship from radars. And sailed closed to the suspected ship. Early morning today 7th of October, at around 5.30 am, the Navy ships saw the suspected ship and noticed that it hadn’t hoisted any flag. The ship with the name of MV “Matshusima” had a length of 70 meters.
